Temp Stick does not have developer API. The only access is trough web browser or mobile apps. But you can use other solutions. Both Connect Sense and Sensor Tag have APIs. Another option is to hire a developer to scrape your Temps Stick page and build you an API.

Temp Stick and La Cross are good options. Both have app, alerts, and history log.
I found having a cellular enabled device as really necessary for our cabin as last year I struggled with our WiFi coming in and out (and also it didn’t work during a power outage – which is really when you need it!).
We got the Marcell Pro version this year which we are really happy with so far. Well worth the extra few bucks a month.

You should check out Log-Alert.com They have a very easy to connect system (WPS button), free web dashboard, configurable text or email alerts, excel download and up to 8 sensors. The basic system is only $69.

Check out La Crosse Alerts Mobile and buy additional sensors. Use the sensor probes inside your refrigerators. You will need a direct line of sight to your WiFi router to have a proper signal at 275ft, or use a WiFi range extender.

Most wireless cloud-connected temperature sensors sold require some sort of recurring fees or software charge. The downside to Bluetooth and Zigbee temperature sensors are only good for 30 to 100 feet range, and much less when you stick them in a refrigerator appliance. If you want range, take a look at Blulog. It is sold by a company called BluLine Solutions. Their Blulog RF long range product is just $99 per sensor, it is ISO 17025 calibrated for 3 years and has 1/2 mile (850 meter) open field range. You will need a gateway radio hub that sells for $290 but it can work with an unlimited quantity of loggers. BluLine Solutions also offers humidity and RF sensors with spike or dull tip probes. The best part of Blulog is that there is no recurring monthly charges. You simply buy the hardware and you are done!
This range is pretty important stuff, especially when you think about the layers of attenuation when you install them in freezers in rooms and have the Blulog internet connected RF gateway hub installed on a different floor or far away from the loggers.
The Blulog RF system is nice because you don’t need to have a smartphone at the site to constantly download the temperature data. It is a continuous live temperature monitoring system that provides email, SMS or live voice message alerts based on your set breach limits. The notification timers are all customizable too.
Blulog RF would be great for cold chain businesses, HVAC applications, horticultural installations, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Anyway, just sharing what I think is a pretty good product. Highly recommend it!

What product Should we use to monitor the inside of a motorhome refrigerator. The refrigerator is an LG French door homestyle refrigerator. We would like to monitor the temperature on our iPhones while traveling. Opening the door to check the temperature lets the cold air out and that we would like to avoid.
